About the Glenfarclas distillery

Glenfarclas has been distilled in Speyside since 1836 and has been owned by the Grant family for six generations. It is one of the last bastions of traditional, unfashionably honest Scotch: direct-fired stills, heavy sherry-cask maturation and age statements kept affordable. Its Family Casks series — single casks covering an unbroken run of vintages back to the 1950s — is a cornerstone of the vintage whisky market.
