About Johnnie Walker

Johnnie Walker began in John Walker’s Kilmarnock grocery shop in the 1820s and grew into the best-selling Scotch whisky on earth, now owned by Diageo. While the core Red and Black Labels are everyday blends, the top of the range plays in collector territory: Blue Label limited editions, the discontinued Green Label era bottlings, King George V and the John Walker command steady auction interest, with Caol Ila and other Diageo malts at the heart of the blend.
